Clip Fo Mo creator guide.
Everything you need to choose a video bounty, make a compliant short-form clip, submit it for review, and receive FOMO rewards.
Quick start
- Connect a compatible browser wallet. This creates your public creator identity.
- Open the bounty marketplace and choose a funded campaign.
- Read the full brief before editing or claiming a submission slot.
- Create the clip to the exact format, length, caption, and content requirements.
- Submit the exported file before the deadline and track its review in Dashboard.
Understanding bounties
A bounty is a funded video clipping campaign. It pairs a source video with a creative brief and a fixed reward for each accepted submission.
Before you claim
- Check the reward amount and maximum number of accepted clips.
- Confirm the deadline and whether the campaign has remaining submission capacity.
- Read the target platforms, aspect ratio, duration, caption, and hook requirements.
- Review the campaign's stated usage rights and acceptance criteria.
Funded status
A “Funded” label indicates the campaign reward pool is recorded as available for that brief. Campaign terms still govern eligibility, review, and payout.
Submission requirements
Every campaign has its own brief. Unless a brief says otherwise, use these baseline delivery standards:
Aspect ratio: 9:16 vertical
Resolution: 1080 × 1920
Duration: 15–60 seconds
Audio: normalized, no clipping
Captions: burned in and readable
Originality
Submit only editing work you created and only from the source footage supplied or permitted by the bounty. Do not add unlicensed media, misleading context, or fabricated statements.
One moment, one story
A strong submission should stand on its own. Open with the key tension, preserve enough context to remain accurate, and end without cutting off the speaker's meaning.
Review process
Campaign owners review submissions against the published brief. Your dashboard shows one of four states:
- In review: the clip was received and is awaiting a decision.
- Revision requested: the clip may qualify after a specific change.
- Accepted: the submission met the brief and the listed reward becomes payable.
- Not selected: the submission was not chosen for reward under that campaign.
Review timing is shown on each brief. A campaign may stop accepting work when all available reward slots are filled.
FOMO rewards
Rewards are denominated in FOMO and published before you claim a bounty. The creator dashboard tracks pending and completed reward activity.
When a reward is earned
A reward becomes eligible after the campaign marks a submission as accepted. The bounty terms specify any additional verification or payout timing.
Wallet destination
Approved rewards are associated with the wallet connected to the creator account when the bounty is claimed. Always verify the connected address in Dashboard before submitting.
Wallet safety
- Connect only a wallet you control.
- Never share a seed phrase, private key, or recovery code.
- Read every wallet prompt before approving it.
- Clip Fo Mo's basic account connection does not require a token transfer.
- If a prompt looks unfamiliar, reject it and verify you are on clipfomo.fun.
For day-to-day creator work, consider using a dedicated wallet separate from long-term asset storage.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to own FOMO before I can clip?
No. Connecting a compatible wallet creates your creator identity and gives the platform an address for approved rewards.
Can I submit more than one clip?
Check the bounty brief. Some campaigns accept multiple distinct moments from one creator; others limit submissions.
What happens if a clip needs changes?
A campaign can request a revision with a specific note. Resubmit before the revised deadline shown in your dashboard.
Does connecting my wallet move funds?
No. A standard account connection shares your public wallet address. Always read wallet prompts and reject unexpected transfer or approval requests.
How do I get paid?
When a submission is accepted, its published FOMO reward becomes eligible for payout to the wallet attached to your creator account, subject to the campaign terms.
